Cliff Drysdale Tennis Coronavirus Status Updates

Last Updated: 1/20/21

Cliff Drysdale Tennis, a division of Troon, will be updating all facility, club and resort property information in relation to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) on this webpage. Our top priority is the safety and health of our employees, members, guests and all that visit our locations around the world. Alongside our location partners, we are following recommendations from government and health agencies at the local, state, national and international level.

“The Coronavirus pandemic has impacted nearly everyone in the world, including our locations, employees and customers. We are following all guidelines from the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) and are working to do our part in controlling the spread of this virus. We are ensuring that all of our managed locations have taken extra precautions to keep our employees and customers safe. This situation is highly fluid and is changing by day, and these policies may change. We are prepared to take any and all measures necessary to do what’s right. We look forward to welcoming tennis players onto our courts when possible, and hope that we’ll be back to providing the Ultimate Tennis Experience for all players very soon.”

Scott Colebourne, Chief Operating Officer

Specific programs and measures that have been updated to lower risk across CDT properties include:

  • No high fives, hand shakes or physical contact in any Adult or Junior program. Social distancing is being added wherever possible.

  • All Junior and Adult Programs have been modified to ensure low ratios on court

  • Pros have adjusted their programs to ensure each ball is fed by the teaching pro and never by the guest.

  • All players are strongly advised to wash their hands in the bathroom or at a location’s designated hand sanitizing station before a class, clinic or lesson begins.

  • All clinic and program player/pro ratios have been adjusted to accommodate 6 feet of social distancing, as recommended by the CDC.

Please continue to monitor local updates in your area, or contact your Director of Tennis for current precautions and protocols at your facility.
