Best Tennis Memory:

My best tennis memory is with my teammates and I while playing at Schreiner University when we went to Oregon to play a couple of matches on the road. We had three tough matches ahead of us going up there and went 2-1 through the week we spent up there. The reason it’s my favorite memory is that all the matches were very competitive and electric while also creating amazing memories with my teammates with one of the matches getting tied up at 4-4 waiting on one of our guys to finish a match in the third set tiebreak to clinch the win for us. I’ll never forget the excitement my teammates and I had getting that fantastic win!

What has been your favorite event or program to teach during your time at Cliff Drysdale Tennis and why?

My favorite event to teach while at Cliff Drysdale was teaching at our 24-hour tennis event at John Newcombe Country Club. We taught all night on the courts with fun exciting clinics while raising money for foundations. It was so great to see all these people coming out to help raise money.

What part of being a tennis pro do you feel you’ve improved at the most during your time in the program?

While in the PTU program I have most improved on my coaching instructions. While being in the program I have been able to learn from many people with different tennis backgrounds that have made me a better coach.

If you could teach a private lesson to any person in the world, who would it be and why?

My pick would be Andre Agassi. I’ve looked up to him as a player my whole life and it would be great to get out on the court with him and talk about his time on the tour.

What advice would you have for those interested in joining the PTU program?

My advice would be to come in with an open mind and be ready to learn. During my time in the PTU program, I have been able to work with and learn from some of the best tennis pros around while also getting to learn from tennis legends John Newcombe and Roy Emerson. Be ready to see your coaching level increase rapidly while also having a great time with the amazing team you just joined.
