The USTA announced the entry list for the CopperWynd 50K Women’s Pro Challenge and it will feature many up and coming American players. The CopperWynd 50K Women’s Pro Challenge will take place November 8-15, 2015 at the CopperWynd Resort & Club with the tennis managed by Cliff Drysdale Tennis. The CopperWynd 50K Women’s Pro Challenge will be the last leg in the Australian Open Wild Card Challenge, which grants the American player with the most points a Main Draw Wild Card to the 2016 Australian Open.
The highest ranked American player on the entrant list is Anna Tatishvili at 110. The Georgian-born 25 year old has won 15 ITF singles titles, 17 ITF doubles titles, and 3 WTA doubles titles. At the 2015 US Open Championships, Tatashvili soared through the qualifying and defeated the 8-seeded Karolina Pliskova in a dominating upset.
