Baha Mar, the leading resort destination in the Bahamas, has partnered with Cliff Drysdale Tennis to manage The Racquet Club, comprised of world class tennis courts and facilities, programming and pro shop. Jim Tressler has been named Director of Tennis, effective February 15th.

As a premier tennis destination in The Caribbean, The Racquet Club at Baha Mar features nine championship courts - six hard courts, two har-tru clay courts and the only grass court in the Caribbean. The tennis program offers private lessons, court rentals, adult drill mixers and kids play for resort guests. At the state-of-the-art pro shop, players will find top-of-the-line racquets, equipment and gear as well as rentals.

Tennis professional Jim Tressler joins Baha Mar and Cliff Drysdale Tennis with a career deeply ingrained in all aspects of the industry. Tressler more recently served as the Director of Tennis at Atkins Tennis Center, University of Illinois for 18 years, where he also was the Tournament Director of the $75K USTA Pro Circuit event. Tressler has served as a Marketing Manager at Nike Tennis, Director of Corporate Partnerships at the USTA, a college tennis coach at the University of Florida and the University of Alabama, and a resort director seasonally in Anguilla and Jamaica.
