Cliff Drysdale Tennis Partners with Coral Gables Athletic Club
Cliff Drysdale Tennis and Coral Gables Athletic Club are pleased to announce their new tennis partnership, which has a Drysdale-led team managing the tennis programming and facility effective June 1st.
The Coral Gables Athletic Club has become a favorite among Coral Gables residents due to it’s prime location in the upscale Miami suburb, with lush surroundings in front of the Historic Granada Golf Course.
The club features a fully renovated fitness center, a 200,000 gallon Junior Olympic size pool and the tennis amenity with 6 newly renovated Har Tru Tennis Courts, a fully stocked pro shop, racquets and stringing service, and snacks and refreshments.
“Coral Gables Athletic Club truly embraces tennis and lifestyle,” states Scott McCulloch, Vice President of Club Operations for Cliff Drysdale Tennis. “Its location surrounded by lush greenery makes it the perfect place to spend an afternoon with the entire family. We are very excited to offer new memberships, expand the tennis programs, and bring new juniors and adults to the game of tennis though our Tennis 101 pathways and junior development. The club will cater to all levels of play while playing host to a great fun, family environment.
I hope to see many Coral Gables families having the kids join our action-packed summer camps while the parents try our complimentary Tennis 101 series. We have something special to offer everyone interested in a fun, healthy, outdoor oriented lifestyle!”
The tennis program will be led by Alex Butnarciuc, formerly of the Drysdale-managed Club at Grove Isle, an accomplished coach and player. Butnarciuc is a native of Moldova and played on the Davis Cup team for his home country, as well as a stellar college career playing for the University of Tennessee.
