Naples, Florida (February 9, 2024) -- Cliff Drysdale Tennis, a Troon Company, has been selected to manage racquets operations at Esplanade Golf and Country Club, a private residential community in Naples, Florida. Doyle Springett has been named Director of Racquets, effective immediately.
Ideally located just miles from the Gulf of Mexico in Naples, the beautiful Esplanade community was developed by Taylor Morrison Homes and includes approximately 1,798 acres, 1,000 of which are natural preserves, wetlands and walking trails, as well as over 170 acres of lakes. The gated community features 1,184 residential homes. Club amenities are highlighted by the 18-hole Chris Wilczynski-desiged golf course, an all-encommpassing community wellness center, resort style pool, two on site restaraunts, the Bahama Bar, and more. Racquets facilities include six har-tru clay tennis courts, four pickleball courts, and bocce ball programs.

Doyle Springett has been named Director of Racquets and will oversee all areas of the tennis, pickleball and bocce programming. Springett, who is originally from Australia, is an experienced instructor and club leader who has managed programs and operations for over 15 years at private clubs across the nation. He most recently served as Program Director at Parkland Golf and Country Club in Parkland, Florida. Springett is a Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) certified tennis professional as well as a Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) certified pickelball professional. All Esplanade Golf and Country Club residents and members will receive reciprocal membership benefits at resorts through the U.S. and internationally through CDT’s Experience Travel Program, including luxury resorts across the world and over 40 signature event opportunities for tennis and pickleball players of all levels.
