Cliff Drysdale Tennis and Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa are excited to announce that World No. 8 and one of the best returners in the men’s game David Ferrer will join the Tennis With The Stars event on March 10th in Rancho Mirage, CA.
The recent addition to the event's roster comes in the wake of Petra Kvitova's withdrawal from the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells and subsequently the Tennis with the Stars event.
Kvitova stated this morning "I'm really sad that I won't be able to take part in the Omni Resort event this year as I heard it's a really fun event! I love spending time in the desert during Indian Wells and I'm looking forward to hopefully being involved next year instead."

"We are however, very fortunate that David will be participating, he is a phenomenal player and having a really strong start in 2015, and his recent on court battles with Kei Nishikori in Australia and Mexico promise a very entertaining exhibition when the two go head to head on the Rancho Las Palmas courts!
The evening also features World No. 4 Kei Nishikori, the Japanese tennis star who had a breakthrough year in 2014, 16-Time Grand Slam Champion Martina Hingis, former number 1 in the world Jelena Jankovic, and more special guests.
The March 10th tennis extravaganza provides an exclusive opportunity for 24 amateur players to test their skills in a Round Robin Pro Am tournament in which the winners earn a chance to play against and alongside the top professionals in Exhibition matches. Following the tennis, VIPs will enjoy a luxe reception featuring cocktails and bubbles by Grey Goose and Moet & Chandon.
Event Schedule:
The Palm Springs celebrity event will be hosted at Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa with check in for Pro Am players at 2:30pm, the Exhibition matches beginning at 5pm, and the VIP coctail reception and meet and greet from 6pm to 7pm.

VIP Spectator tickets at $100 per person for the exhibition matches and VIP Reception
Pro Am & VIP Reception at $250 per person for the Pro Am Round Robin, VIP seating, gift, court time and participation with Millet and other professionals to qualify for spots to play out points with the leading tennis pros, and VIP Reception and parking
VIP All Star Package: $2,500 provides one player entry in the Pro Am, 15 minutes of guaranteed playing time against and alongside the top pros, VIP courtside seating, gift bags and individual meet and-greet photo opportunity, and VIP Reception and parking
