Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa and Cliff Drysdale Tennis are thrilled to announce an unprecedented, intimate gathering of some of the world’s top tennis players as a kickoff to the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells. The March 10th tennis extravaganza provides an exclusive opportunity for just 24 amateur players to test their skills in a Round Robin Pro Am tournament in which the winners earn a chance to play against and alongside the top professionals.
The evening will be headlined by World No. 4 Kei Nishikori, the Japanese tennis star who had a breakthrough year in 2014, World No. 8 and one of the best returners in the men’s game David Ferrer, 16-Time Grand Slam Champion Martina Hingis, former number 1 in the world Jelena Jankovic, and many more special guests.
The Palm Springs celebrity event will be hosted at Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa from 2:30pm to 7pm on Tuesday, March 10, and includes the round robin Pro Am, a “King of the Court” challenge match pitting the celebrity pros against the amateur Round Robin winners, exhibition matches with the top stars, and a VIP cocktail reception sponsored by Grey Goose and Moet & Chandon to close out the evening.
The action is open to the public by reservation and is limited. Tickets and packages are available for the following:
Pro Exhibition tickets at $50 per person to view the exhibitions
VIP Spectator tickets at $100 per person for the exhibition matches and VIP Reception
Pro Am & VIP Reception at $250 per person for the Pro Am Round Robin, VIP seating, gift, court time and participation with Millet and other professionals to qualify for two spots to play out points with the leading tennis pros, and VIP Reception and parking
VIP All Star Package: $2,500 provides one player entry in the Pro Am, 15 minutes of guaranteed playing time against and alongside the top pros, VIP courtside seating, gift bags and individual meet and-greet photo opportunity, and VIP Reception and parking
