Cliff Drysdale Tennis is pleased to announce that a new Director of Tennis, Hannah Thompson, will take on the award-winning tennis program at Hawks Cay Resort effective September 2016.
Thompson joined the Cliff Drysdale team in February of 2015 and has been undergoing tennis professional advancement training at select locations including The John Newcombe Country Club in New Braunfels, TX and Omni Amelia Island Plantation in Florida as an instructor, and at the Southampton Racquet Club in New York as the Membership Coordinator. Originally from Essex, U.K., Thompson is a charismatic and driven professional with experience in the tennis industry as well as in marketing and event planning. An LTA certified tennis coach since 2005, Thompson was a nationally ranked player in the UK and US as a junior, and went on to play for Georgia's Brenau University. After graduating she joined the university's coaching staff before moving on to Pennsylvania's Camp Towanda and subsequently joining Cliff Drysdale Tennis. Thompson’s immediate goals for Hawks Cay include a focus on increasing resort guest and local player participation, and customizing new programs for groups and teams.

Under Hannah’s leadership we are confident that Hawks’ tennis offerings will continue to rise to the next level.”
In February of 2010, Hawks Cay Resort partnered with Cliff Drysdale Tennis, and has since undergone a major renovation of the tennis facility and commitment to build the resort’s tennis program and reputation as a tennis destination. Hawks Cay Resort has been consecutively recognized on the coveted Tennis Resorts Online Top 100 Tennis Resorts list since 2013.
