Rancho Mirage, California (April 1, 2021) -- Cliff Drysdale Tennis has named Vicente Ferrer Director of Tennis at Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort and Spa, effective immediately. Ferrer will oversee all programming, staff and operations at the Coachella Valley resort that features 23 championship hard courts and 6 pickleball courts.
Ferrer joins the Cliff Drysdale Tennis team with strong experience in managing adult and junior tennis programs. A graduate of the nearby College of the Desert, Ferrer’s tennis roots in the area are strong. He served a Junior Coaching Professional at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden before being named Head Tennis Professional at Monterey Country Club. Most recently, Ferrer served as the first assistant at The Valley Club in Sun Valley, Idaho, where he managed a team of pros and delivered programming for both tennis and pickleball.
