Weston Racquet Club Announces New Padel Courts

2 Lighted Padel Courts added to Weston Racquet Club, a Cliff Drysdale Tennis managed facility, in South Florida

Weston, Florida (February 24, 2023) – Weston Racquet Club, a membership club in Weston, Florida, has announced the completion of a state of the art, two-court padel facility. With this expansion, Weston Racquet Club will be one of the only facilities in the area to offer tennis, pickleball and padel.

A racquet sport popularized in Spain, padel is a rapidly growing activity that combines elements of tennis and squash in a glass enclosed court. South Florida represents the largest region for padel in the United States, and Weston Racquet Club follows The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami as Cliff Drysdale Tennis’s second padel facility in the area.

All Racquet Sports, the country’s principal expert on padel, led the construction and development of the two courts. Technological highlights include aluminum exclusive profiles, laser cut anchor plates, LED lighting and AFP Turf Monofibre.

Available for year-round play, Weston Racquet Club’s new padel courts will complement the facility’s already-notable tennis and pickleball programs, which feature clinics, lessons with the pros, summer camps, tournaments and events. In honor of the expansion, new members who join the club will receive discounted initiation and $100 in rewards credits.
